January 2015 - Tyson Foods announced plans to expand in Dooly County, Georgia, creating 500 jobs.
The company will add 100,000 square feet to its existing processing facility in Vienna, where it currently produces chicken for food service customers such as restaurant chains. With this expansion, Tyson will convert to supplying fresh tray pack chicken to meet the needs of regional retail customers.

"Tyson Foods is one of our state's largest employers in food processing, and I'm confident that it will continue to benefit from our top talent and robust industry network in order to deliver high-quality jobs to Georgia's citizens."
