Daniel Higgins is Economic Development's CRM Administrator. He brings considerable skills and experience to his role, and he was formerly responsible for Workforce Data Analytics at Southern Company Gas.
Previously serving as the Senior Workforce Data Analyst, Daniel provided HR data strategy for Southern Company Gas and provided regular workforce updates to executive leadership.
Since joining Southern Company in 2014, Daniel has held several positions within Georgia Power, Southern Company, and AGL Services, including Senior Workforce Data Analyst and Senior Safety Health Specialist.
Daniel is a graduate of University of Georgia where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and Behavior and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management. Daniel also holds Data Science and Analytics certificates from General Assembly and a Certificate in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School Online.
Daniel has been a member of various organizations and Employee Resource Groups. He previously served on The Professional Education and Employee Retention (PEER), the Corporate Services Employee Action Council, the People Analytics Council, and has been a mentor and mentee in the PEER Mentorship Program.
