2021: A Year of Change and Gratitude

2021 was a memorable year. Operating within a continued pandemic, our team continued to learn how to be effective while doing things differently. But what didn't change was the core of what we do - working with our partners and communities to help grow Georgia through business recruitment, business expansion, and workforce development. And against all odds, this was a record-breaking year for our team.

We are grateful to have worked alongside our communities to bring 18,000+ new jobs and 7 billion dollars in investment to the state. Our Learning Power Education Coordinators taught hands-on STEM-based lessons to over 100,000 K-12 students. And our workforce is as strong as ever, with over 150,000 post-secondary completions from Georgia colleges and universities.
