What’s your role at the Georgia Resource Center?

I’m a Civil Engineer- we assist communities and project managers as they visualize potential projects and determine the feasibility of different locations.

What’s one word you feel describes economic development in Georgia?  

Powerful!

Tell us your favorite part of your job.

Meeting the people we partner with throughout the state who are working on the same goals. It’s amazing to go to the counties we’re working in and seeing the impact our work does.

Favorite place in Georgia to get away to? 

The North Georgia mountains. 

What was your very first job, and what did it teach you?  

Six Flags! I was 16 and very introverted until I started working there. It taught me to open up and talk to people. I honestly credit that job with where I am today. 

Who inspires you?  

My 7-year old nephew. 

What’s the best thing on Netflix?  

Lost. All time-best TV show ever.

What are you most excited about when you come into work?

The jokes! Everyone in our office has a great sense of humor.

Go-to karaoke song?

WAR! Inspired by an episode of Boy Meets World: The College Years, hah! I’ve also been known to do Say My Name by Destiny’s Child.
