Georgia's 2023 Locations & Growth

Georgia had the second best year on record!

This year was the second best on record behind last year’s historic wins! Data center locations accounted for 32% of capital investment, while the expanding EV industry in Georgia represented almost a third of both job creation and capital investment.

The fourth quarter was no exception to these trends with a data center campus in Conyers announced by DC BLOX and seven automotive industry projects announced over the last three months from the coastal region all the way to northwest Georgia.

2023 Project Locations (50+ Jobs)

This year saw a wave of automotive parts manufacturers locating across the state in support of the electric vehicle industry from Hyundai Industrial's new facility in Coweta county to Hwashin's automotive parts manufacturing in Dublin and more surrounding the Hyundai megasite in coastal Georgia. While those automotive manufacturing facilities account for the majority of job creation in 2023, data center campuses brought almost $6 billion in capital investment to our state.

And we couldn't be happier to welcome the national headquarters and training facility for the U.S. Soccer Federation (U.S.S.F.) where all 27 national teams will train!
