“The strategic location near prominent cities like Savannah and Macon, facilitating convenient access, played a pivotal role in our decision-making process. Looking ahead to future expansion prospects, we deemed Metter to be an ideal location in anticipation of its role as a global electric vehicle production hub thanks to its close proximity to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America.”

Third quarter results proved it’s another historic year in the making with 88 project locations so far, the most on record for the first nine months of the year!
While the automotive parts suppliers continue to locate in support of the electric vehicle manufacturing companies, the third quarter actually saw over half of job creation (52%) and capital investment (60%) coming from the non-manufacturing sector thanks to growth in metro Atlanta at Morgan Stanley and data center investment. The food processing sector also saw growth across the state from probiotic beverage manufacturing at Yakult in Cartersville to bakery products at CJ Foodville in Gainesville and a state-of-the art agricultural operation at 4 Fungi's Regenerative in Metter.
The third quarter also proved to be historical as Georgia Power achieved 25 years as a Top Utility in Economic Development.
